Ruttle Group Planning

Our approach is centered on you: we provide tailored guidance based on your unique needs rather than promoting one-size-fits-all solutions.

We recognize that every journey is different, so we move at a pace that aligns with your emotional and financial comfort. We’re also glad to work alongside your existing professionals, such as accountants or lawyers, ensuring our support enhances and complements the foundation you already have in place.

The 5 Phases of Wealth Planning

Phase 1: Learn and List

60-minute meeting

Where we learn all about you. What’s your story? How did you get to where you are and where do you want to be?

During this meeting we will:

  • List your current questions, problems, priorities,
    and goals.
  • Review our Letter of Engagement and the Five
    Phases of our Planning Program
  • Agree on a path forward.

Phase 2: Assess and Audit

45-minute meeting

We’re excited that we’ve decided to work together to build your wealth. By now we have completed the letter of engagement, and you have done the work to provide us with the pertinent documents and information we need to get started. Our team has gotten to work on assessing and auditing the documents you’ve given us.

During this meeting we will:

  • Assess your net worth sheet and cashflow.
  • Discuss your risk tolerance and complete a risk
    tolerance questionnaire.
  • Confirm your questions, problems, priorities,
    and goals.

Phase 3: Plan and Present

90-minute meeting

We’ve built your plan, now it’s time to present it to you. This consists of two documents with supporting illustrations and information. We will go through our written recommendations which address your unique questions, problems, priorities, and goals. We will also highlight any gaps, risks and opportunities to your wealth building plan that you may not have thought of.

During this meeting we will:

  • Review our recommendations on how to achieve your goals
  • Log into the financial planning software live and show you how and why we came to the recommendations that we did
  • Review investment and insurance portfolio comparisons of your current strategies by looking at fees, risks, gaps and opportunities in your current portfolios and recommend any necessary changes.
“Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning”
– Thomas A. Edison

Phase 4: Act and Implement

90-minute meeting

You have your plan, now it’s time to act and implement the steps to achieve your goals. This will look different for each client. It may be opening investment accounts, rebalancing portfolios, applying for insurance, or working with your accountant and lawyer. We are a full-service firm and commit to making sure you act and get things done.

“Well done is better than well said”
– Benjamin Franklin

Phase 5: Monitor and Move

90-minute meeting

For clients who commit to the transfer and management of investment assets as agreed upon in the letter of engagement, we commit to monitoring your wealth and making sure it’s moving in the right direction.

Depending on the complexity of your plan and wealth needs we commit to meeting with you annually, bi-annually or quarterly and are always available as needed for consultation.
